Reporting to the VP, Finance, this is a leadership role with a team of procurement and administrative support functions that report to this position. The successful candidate will bring structure, visibility, and financial insight to ownership and senior leadership through strong reporting, job costing, forecasting, and performance analytics. This role is based out of the Downtown Vancouver office, requiring in office attendance with some flexibility. This is a outstanding role for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑change work environment!ResponsibilitiesFinancial LeadershipOwn the monthly close: reconciliations, accruals/deferrals, consolidations, intercompany, and management reporting.Produce timely P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow; analyze variancesand deliver insight to leadership.Oversee AP/AR,



billing, collections, and expense management; improve working‑capitalmetrics.Maintain the general ledger / chart of accounts; drive process controls and documentation (SOPs).Support the VP in budgeting/forecasting, operating plan updates, and rolling cash forecasts.Partner with project leads on project accounting (WIP, revenue recognition, margins, change orders).Coordinate year‑end review/audit and tax filings with external advisors.Administer finance systems (ERP/accounting, billing, payroll), data integrity, and user controls.Administrative LeadershipOversee the administration team and day to day leadership.Track financial obligations, billing milestones, and deliverables; ensure terms are reflected in invoicing and revenue policies.Maintain provincial/federal filings, business licenses, and records; manage policy updates (e.G., travel, spend, purchasing).Monitor approval workflows, segregation of duties, and documentation for audits.Skills And KnowledgeStrong leadership and organizational skills with keen attention to detailExcellent communication and analytical skillsAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environmentAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with procurement or PSA/ERP systems is an assetMulti‑entity or cross‑border (USA) experience is an assetEducation And ExperienceCPA Designated AccountantPost‑secondary education in finance, business, or a related field6–8 years of progressive and relevant accounting work experienceCompensation And Additional PerksCompetitive Compensation based on skill set and experience can range between $120,000 and $150,000 per yearShort Term Incentive PlanGreat health perks and vacationCompany laptop and peripheralsCellphone AllowanceCommuting AllowanceGreat environment & culture!#J-18808-Ljbffr
