For more information, visit WPP.Com.Account Director (Ford) - 14 month contractAbout the RoleWe’re looking for an Account Directorwith a strong background and leadership in digital marketing spaces, in particular enterprise websites.Our ideal candidate has extensive experience leading cross-functional web teams focused primarily on content elements of an enterprise CMS platform. You also work with data and analytics teams to distill information and insights into strategic recommendations and impactful creative briefs. You’re a collaborator, working with various internal teams and disciplines to understand where site fit into a communication plan and how to execute initiatives from start to finish. You also have a strong background in working alongside clients, both in understanding business objectives and translating them into sound marketing strategies and communications plans. To be successful in this position, you should be able to identify current opportunities and proactively address concerns. You should also be adaptable and a catalyst for positive growth and change. let’s have a conversation.You WillWork with a cross-functional team including creative, project management, content strategy, data and analytics as well as AEM author and QA rolesBe responsible for delivering well crafted, strategic project proposals and briefs based on site strengths and best practices as well as the consumer experience with client’s business objectives in mindBe the point person for agency and clients ensuring clear understanding of their direction/objectives and the ability to provide and action effective solutions on site when applicableLead client facing meetings, including but not limited to team status, prioritization discussions, project recommendations, and cross tier initiatives (involving more than your direct client)Participate in larger client engagement discipline discussions, providing updates or asking questions related to work that may impact siteEducate internal and client stakeholders on the role of enterprise site within the broader communications ecosystemDevelop and manage a site roadmap for the year, reporting on what was delivered, delayed, or replaced based on evolving business prioritiesContribute proof points against bi-annual agency evaluations and Quarterly Business Review documentationProvide a business perspective when reviewing client facing reports and presentations from the analytics teamLook for opportunities to improve the process to deliver a better, more efficient consumer experience or efficient internal work streamStay abreast of evolving automotive advertising, consumer website trends, and competitive activity to inform and shape strategic direction.Work with the site Project Managers on production budgets for assets, legal, and translation tasks, ensuring client is aware and approves of how funds are being usedPerform other duties and projects as assignedYou Bring:3-5 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams delivering consumer-facing website content in an agency environmentKnowledge of website best practices and how the platform best fits within an overall communications planAn ability to manage multiple end-to-end projects of varying sizes with various stakeholdersProactively identify initiative gaps, risks,



and opportunities across cross-functional and cross-agency workstreamsWorking knowledge of web accessibility requirements (AODA, WCAG), SEO best practices and data analyticsEntrepreneurial spirit (self-starter who is focused on results)Proficient experience working in both office and remote working situations, using associated tools (MS Teams, Zoom, etc.)A creative, open-minded, solutions-oriented approach to problem solvingA growing curiosity about industry, consumer and technology trends (including opportunities of AI integration)The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range between the values at the bottom of this posting.
