OverviewSenior Corporate Accountant at Localcoin (hybrid – Etobicoke, ON; minimum 2 days in-office). Salary range: $60,000 - $85,000. This role oversees full-cycle accounting across multiple legal entities and currencies, ensures the integrity of financial reporting, and maintains strong internal controls. You will be a subject-matter expert within the Finance team, support audits and compliance initiatives, and contribute to process improvements as the organization scales. This is a hands-on role with increased responsibility, visibility, and collaboration with Finance leadership.What you’ll be doingPerform full-cycle accounting duties for a group of companies, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timelinessReview and approve journal entries supported by detailed account reconciliations and backup documentationPrepare schedules, working papers, supporting documents, and financial analysis to support financial statements, audits, FP&A;, and special projectsAssist with delivering monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close procedures, including review and variance analysisAudit, monitor, and report on high-volume crypto and cash activity using internal systems and toolsReview daily Cash-in-Transit (CIT) balances and proactively investigate and escalate outstanding cash issues with Finance and CIT partnersEnsure the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger across all entitiesProcess banking, crypto, and other financial transactions for review and approval by the Finance team and ExecutivesUphold and continuously improve accounting policies and documentation related to revenue, cost of sales, inventory, fixed assets, loans, and other key accounting areas in accordance with ASPE, US GAAP, and IFRSEnsure compliance with local, provincial, and federal government reporting, licensing,
