The scope includes:5 km‑long tunnel, built by a pressurized TBM (10.15 m diameter slurry)Two vertical shafts (onshore and offshore)An offshore modular intake structure resting on the lake bedThe project is distinguished by its proximity to an active nuclear site, requiring rigorous standards of safety, planning and coordination.What you will doEnsure the implementation and monitoring of health and safety standards across all phases of the project, guaranteeing compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and nuclear site requirements.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain the Health & Safety Management Plan for the projectConduct risk assessments and hazard analyses for tunneling, shaft construction,



and offshore worksMonitor compliance with safety procedures and legal requirements on‑siteCoordinate safety training programs for all personnel and subcontractorsLead incident investigations and implement corrective actionsLiaise with project management, engineering teams, and client representatives to ensure safety integration in planning and executionPrepare and present regular safety reports and KPIs to managementEnsure emergency preparedness and response plans are in place and testedQualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE), Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, or EngineeringMinimum 6 years of experience in Health & Safety roles on large infrastructure projectsProven experience in tunneling or underground works, preferably with TBM operationsExperience working on projects with high‑risk environments (nuclear, offshore, or similar)Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Familiarity with safety management systems and incident reporting toolsStrong leadership and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and proactive approach to problem‑solvingDemonstrated practical knowledge of current health and safety legislationWhat we have to provide4 vacation weeks & 3 emergency/sickness days paidGroup Health Insurance (premium participation including virtual health care system)Wellness spending
