We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with robust exposure to data engineering, data analysis, and banking/wealth management domains. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technology teams to define requirements, support data ingestion initiatives, build domain‑specific data views, and ensure high‑quality technical delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills, domain knowledge in banking or wealth management, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications. Key Responsibilities Business & Domain Collaboration Partner with business teams in banking and wealth management to understand data requirements, business processes, and regulatory nuances. Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for the engineering teams. Data Ingestion & Analysis Support the design, validation, and monitoring of data ingestion processes for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with domain standards. Work with data engineers to ensure ingestion pipelines align with business use cases. View Creation & SQL Development Develop and maintain domain‑based data views (e.G., customer portfolios, transactions, account summaries) using SQL.



Ensure views are optimized, accurate, and structured to support reporting and analytics. Story Grooming & Requirements Management Refine user stories and define clear acceptance criteria. Collaborate with developers to ensure proper understanding and implementation of requirements. Developer & Technical Support Act as a liaison between business and engineering teams, providing clarifications, resolving requirement gaps, and supporting data-related troubleshooting. Data Analysis Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, anomalies, and process improvement opportunities. Documentation Data workflows Business rules System interactions Qualifications & Skills Domain Knowledge Strong understanding of banking and/or wealth management processes, such as: Asset management Client onboarding Compliance and regulatory reporting Portfolio and transaction reporting Technical Skills Proficiency in SQL (querying, joins, optimization). Basic knowledge of Python for data manipulation and scripting tasks. Familiarity with data ingestion tools / ETL pipelines / APIs is an advantage. Analytical & Functional Skills Strong problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail. Ability to analyze data, validate outputs,



and identify quality issues. Agile Experience Hands‑on experience in Agile environments (story grooming, sprint planning, backlog refinement). The pay range for this role is $90,000 – $110,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
