Engage with the Marine Ecotoxicology team to understand toxicological effects on salmon and marine mammals. Collaborate on statistical analyses and contribute findings to governmental and academic reports.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare marine tissue samples for contaminant analysis • Process contaminant data in fish and marine mammals • Conduct statistical analyses of contaminant levels • Present research findings at conferences and meetings • Publish results in government and peer-reviewed reports

Requirements: • Enrolled in a Master's program at the University of Victoria • Experience in laboratory or field research • Proficiency in statistical software like R or MATLAB • Knowledge of aquatic contaminant issues • Strong ability to communicate scientific data
