Robert Half Talent SolutionsWork Schedule: Full Time, PermanentWork Designation: HybridRate of Pay: $145,000 and paid overtime.Qualified candidates may be eligible for relocation assistance.Our client is an established Chartered Accounting Firm with over 40 years supporting the community in British Columbia. We are seeking an engaging and experienced Director to lead the Firm's Kelowna, BC office.The Director will play a critical role in leading the team, driving growth and success, contributing to the firm’s overall operation, and delivering exceptional service to their clients. The role incumbent will furthermore take part to shape the strategic direction of the office, cultivate client relationships and uphold the company’s core values.This position requires expertise in Assurance & Audit and will be entrusted to grow the book of business through strong external networking and relationship building and possibly by introducing new revenue streams.Furthermore, the Director will assume leadership and management responsibilities that will extend beyond operational duties to cultivate positive employee engagement, empower employees with appropriate decision‑making capabilities, and play a central role in talent management and performance evaluation.Leadership and Strategic PlanningCollaborate with other Directors to develop and implement strategic plans for the firm.Provide visionary leadership to inspire and guide staff towards achieving firm goals.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain solid relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor on financial matters.Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen client engagement.Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality, timely and personalized service.Business DevelopmentLead business development efforts, including prospecting,



networking and proposal development.Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.Nurture existing client relationships and new ones to drive firm growth.Financial ManagementOversee the financial performance of the firm, including budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis.Implement measures to optimize revenue and control costs.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.Team Development and Talent ManagementMentor and develop staff, providing guidance and support for professional growth.Foster a culture of learning and development, encouraging continuous skill enhancement.Effectively manage team resources and workload allocation to maximize efficiency and productivity.Risk Management and ComplianceEnsure adherence to regulatory requirements, professional standards and ethical guidelines.Implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and maintain compliance.Stay abreast of industry trends, changes in accounting regulations and emerging issues.RequirementsAccreditationsCPA (Chartered Professional Accountant, Canada) designation is required.Successful candidates are required to be or obtain a licence for Assurance in Public Practice.ExperienceSignificant experience in public accounting, with a focus on assurance, audit, tax, and advisory services.Proven track record of success in client service, business development and leadership roles.Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax laws.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.Exceptional leadership abilities, with a to inspire and motivate others.Strategic thinker with a results‑oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence.Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic workplace and manage multiple priorities effectively.Prior experience working with Not-for-Profit or First Nations organizations preferred but not required.#J-18808-Ljbffr
