Application Support Analyst (Salesforce-Focused)

Remote (1x/month onsite – Toronto)

6-Month Contract + Extension Potential

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Application Support Analyst with strong Salesforce experience to join a collaborative team environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, working through tickets, and being in the day-to-day operations of systems support.

You’ll be supporting a Microsoft / SharePoint-based environment, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth system functionality and user support.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Manage and resolve daily support tickets (~10 per day) across business applications
- Handle user access and permissions requests (50–75 per week)
- Provide Salesforce support, including troubleshooting issues and building basic reports
- Work within a structured ticketing system (similar to environments like Rogers Communications)
- Collaborate with internal team members and escalate issues to external vendors when needed
- Support a Microsoft / SharePoint environment for internal users




- Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices in incident and service management

What We’re Looking For

- 5–7 years of experience in Application Support / Production Support roles
- Robust hands-on experience with Salesforce (support + reporting)
- Experience working in a ticketing-driven environment
- Solid understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up

Nice to Have

- Basic knowledge of SQL (not a core requirement)
- Experience in Microsoft / SharePoint environments
- Exposure to working with external vendors / third-party systems
