A220
commercial aircraft program is looking for a
Data Analyst – Project Control and Analytics
to join a project management and product development team based in
Mirabel, Quebec .
You will be part of a project management team responsible for planning and controlling configuration changes for the
A220
aircraft.
The team's organization promotes cross-functional collaboration, autonomy, mutual support, and knowledge sharing.
Your role as a Data Analyst – Project Control and Analytics will be to ensure the implementation and maintenance of the dashboards necessary for the proper control of A220 configuration change projects. You will also be responsible for monitoring and evolving engineering performance indicators and data quality. You may also monitor adherence to configuration change processes.
Your challenges 1. Development and optimization of analytics
Design, develop, and maintain interactive and high-performing dashboards to ensure real-time visibility into A220 configuration change projects.
Translate the business needs of project management and engineering teams into explicit, visual, and actionable performance indicators, or KPIs.
Automate the collection and transformation of data from various source systems to reduce manual manipulation and accelerate report production.
2. Governance, quality, and data integrity
Continuously audit and validate the quality, accuracy, and consistency of configuration and engineering data before their dissemination.
Identify anomalies and gaps in databases, then collaborate with data owners to implement corrective actions at the source.
3. Project control and process adherence monitoring
Measure and analyze the engineering teams' adherence to official configuration change processes.
Act as a watchdog by reporting process deviations, bottlenecks, or schedule slippages in configuration projects.
4.
Continuous improvement and team support
Maintain agile, reliable, and up-to-date dashboards despite the high volume and velocity of modifications specific to the A220 program.
Develop a network of collaborators to compare working methods, identify best practices, and contribute to their standardization.
Technical skills – Know-how
Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems (MIS), industrial engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of
5 years of relevant experience
in the field.
Excellent mastery of
data extraction, analysis, and visualization , as well as associated tools and data sources.
Mastery of several of the following tools:
Excel, Google Sheets, SQL, Python, Qlik, Tableau, Apps Script , or other tools and SQL databases.
Knowledge of
SAP
is an asset.
Major asset:
Experience in a
manufacturing or aeronautical
environment, ideally within complex projects or the
A220
program.
Knowledge or experience with
PLM and ERP
systems is an important asset.
Relational skills – Soft skills
You are
fully bilingual in French and English , both orally and in writing.
Rigor and attention to detail:
ability to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of data as well as process adherence monitoring.
Communication and diplomacy:
ability to popularize technical and complex data with various stakeholders and show tact when monitoring deviations or non-adherence to processes.
You possess excellent
