The YMCA Calgary is hiring for the Child Minding Caregiver role across three South Locations. This part-time opportunity involves working flexible schedule to accommodate community needs while fostering an environment of safety and learning for children ages 6 weeks to 9 years. Applicants should demonstrate effective communication capabilities and a positive, collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure high-quality care for children in minding programs
• Engage in developmentally appropriate play and learning
• Support children’s personal and social skill development
• Maintain health and safety protocols in the child care setting
• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
Requirements:
• Experience with children aged 6 weeks – 9 years
• Preferred background in Early Childhood Education
• Current Standard First Aid/CPR-C certification
• Require Police Information Check and Vulnerable Sector verification
• Provide three professional references
