Both full‑time and part‑time unionized positions are available for candidates looking to work days, evenings, late nights and weekends.The Delivery Driver transports goods by van or carts to various locations on and off campus for catering purposes. Responsibilities include inspecting the delivery vehicle, verifying delivery lists, loading and unloading goods, maintaining detailed delivery records (including temperature checks and transfer paperwork), notifying the manager or supervisor on duty at arrival, and ensuring a signature as proof of receipt.Job ResponsibilitiesSupports locations on campus with required items.Loads products onto the truck daily.Drives the van to transport products on and off campus.Delivers in a timely manner to locations.Prepares, loads, unloads, and operates the delivery modes of transportation.Conducts temperature checks for goods during transport.Performs daily vehicle inspections and records them.Assists stores/receivers with tasks when not transporting items on campus.Signs off on paperwork dealing with temperatures, vehicle checks,



and cleaning.Performs other duties and tasks assigned by the Executive Chef/Manager.Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive attitude toward customers, clients, and co‑workers.Qualifications1–2 years of driving experience, preferably as a delivery driver.Valid G driver’s licence with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract for Queen’s University and Aramark.Good organizational and communication skills.Attention to detail ensuring accuracy in all tasks.Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with staff and clients.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push up to 100 lbs.This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
