This role requires strong leadership skills to manage warehouse staff effectively and ensure that all operations align with company standards.ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily warehouse operations, including picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory management.Coordinate order fulfillment processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.Ensure proper invoicing and documentation for all orders.Oversee the training and development of warehouse staff in best practices for order picking and heavy equipment operation.Maintain accurate inventory records using our systems.Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.Manage the operation of forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed for efficient warehouse functioning.Collaborate with other departments to optimize logistics and improve overall operational efficiency.Conduct regular inspections of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure compliance with safety standards.Experience and QualificationsProven experience in warehouse management or a related field is essential.Solid knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including order picking and fulfillment.Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations is preferred.Experience operating heavy equipment, including forklifts, is required.Proficiency in using inventory management software and QuickBooks is an asset.Proven knowledge of computerized systems is a must.Knowledge of the Dairy and grocery industry is an asset.Knowledge of food safety procedures is REQUIRED.Job TypeFull-timePay$8,000.00-$8,500.00 per monthBenefitsOn-site parkingWork LocationBrampton, ONWork location: On site#J-18808-Ljbffr
