FedEx is hiring a Flex Driver at their Calgary, Alberta location — a part-time, casual role for individuals who enjoy working independently on the road and take pride in delivering reliable service.

Role Summary: To ensure timely delivery of packages to predetermined customers on specific routes, reviewing orders prior to delivery, load/unload vehicle and provide exceptional customer service to our client base. Flexible shift opportunities (min and max hours, days of work parameters will be determined based on business requirements).

Responsibilities

- Deliver packages to predetermined customers on specific routes in a timely and professional manner
- Review orders prior to departure to ensure accuracy and readiness
- Load and unload the delivery vehicle safely, including packages weighing up to 70 lbs
- Provide exceptional customer service at every stop
- Complete mandatory training, including pre-placement driver assessment and re-currency training
- Adapt to flexible shift schedules based on business requirements




- Operate within FedEx Canada's guidelines and maintain a clean driving record

Requirements

- High school diploma or educational equivalent
- Valid full G licence / Class 5 driver's licence
- Driving record with two or fewer violations and/or accidents in the 24 months prior to application
- One (1) year customer-oriented business experience preferred
- Must achieve minimum threshold on mandatory pre-placement driver assessment training
- Ability to successfully complete all basic and re-currency training
- Ability to lift 70 lbs
- Positive interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, handle stress and work in a highly pressured environment
- Some knowledge of Federal Express Canada operations an asset
- In the province of Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English)
