The Assistant Manager supports store leadership every day. You help coordinate the team, maintain a high service standard, and keep operations running (schedules, daily priorities, task follow-up).

You are versatile: on the floor, supporting departments, and acting as a relay with the manager. As needed, you may also lend a hand in the departments, including cleaning and maintenance (cages, habitats, and animals). When the manager is away, you may take on some supervision responsibilities as practiced in the store.

- Store experience (ideally pet retail or general retail) with responsibility.
- Comfortable leading a small team and managing priorities.
- Robust availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred qualifications

- Experience as assistant manager, supervisor, or team lead.
- Familiarity with the pet industry.
- French/English bilingualism is an asset.
