This role is critical in enabling business transformation, supporting rapid growth, and integrating acquired organizations within a dynamic, fast‑paced financial services environment.The ideal candidate brings solid people leadership experience across both in-person and remote teams, a data‑driven mindset, and a proven track record navigating complex M&A (mergers & acquisitions) landscapes, while delivering measurable business value through modern delivery models.WHAT YOU WILL DODefine and execute the enterprise HR systems strategy, with a focus on Workday HCM and its ecosystem.Lead system roadmap planning, including enhancements, integrations, and releases aligned with business priorities.Serve as the Workday subject matter expert and ensure systems are scalable to support growth and acquisitions.Drive delivery through Agile operating models, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative releases.Establish product‑oriented delivery and optimize resources to ensure focused, high‑impact outcomes.Lead HR systems due diligence, data migration,
and integration activities for M&A transactions.Develop standardized onboarding playbooks and ensure seamless system integration with minimal disruption.Lead an advanced HR analytics function to deliver Workday operational reports and promote self‑service reporting in Workday.Develop dashboards and leverage data to improve workforce planning, retention, and organizational effectiveness.Work with our AI team to build use cases on how we can leverage AI to streamline manual work across data and systems.Work across our HR, IT and Corporate teams to support automation of end‑to‑end processes (e.G., onboarding, workforce planning, etc.).Act as a trusted advisor and translate business needs into scalable solutions.Be the point person for system‑related audits to ensure HR systems comply with regulatory requirements and data privacy standards.Establish governance frameworks and support audit activities.Manage third‑party vendors on delivery of Workday application services.Develop scorecard on resource performance, spend and delivery for executive consumption.Lead and develop a high‑performing team across in‑office and remote environments.Coordinate with global jurisdictions on Workday changes to ensure governance and regional compliance.Provide coaching, mentorship,
and performance management while fostering a collaborative and outcome‑focused culture.WHAT YOU WILL BRINGMinimum of 8 years of experience leading an HR systems practice specializing in Workday HCM in global jurisdictions.Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing a reporting/data analytics function.Minimum of 3 years hands‑on experience configuring Workday HCM.Minimum of 3 years’ experience leading a team of Systems professionals in Agile methodology.Strong analytical, strategic, and stakeholder management skills.Ability to work in a highly demanding environment juggling multiple priorities.NICE TO HAVEPrevious experience in financial services with M&A exposure.Proven leadership in Agile delivery and managing distributed teams.Salary & BenefitsThis opportunity is for an existing vacancy. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $93,000 to $143,000, depending on experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary may vary by geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a bonus program.
