Job OverviewThe Work, Stress and Health Program is looking for a full‑time Occupational Therapist for a 1‑year contract to support clients referred by the Workers Safety Insurance Board. The role is a valued member of a multidisciplinary team and focuses on assessment and outpatient treatment for individuals with complex conditions such as chronic pain, addictions, post‑traumatic stress disorder, depression and other psychiatric disorders related to workplace accidents and trauma.ResponsibilitiesProvide client‑centred assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services for clients who have suffered psychological injury, medication or substance‑related difficulties as a result of a traumatic or physical workplace accident or event.Assess clients’ skills and needs, determine treatment and rehabilitation readiness, and develop, implement, and coordinate rehabilitation‑based treatment plans to support clients during therapy and, where applicable, upon return to work.Deliver individual and group treatment, including psychotherapies such as cognitive processing therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy, CBT for anxiety and depression, structured relapse prevention, behavioural activation, exposure therapy, and goal setting.Provide services in both virtual and in‑person settings.Support the Clinical Liaison, review reports for quality assurance, and assist with triage mechanisms to facilitate patient flow.Submit required reporting on time, according to contractual requirements, and meet assigned quality standards of reporting.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, providing excellent customer service to clients, contract partners (WSIB), clinical partner organizations, and other stakeholders.Participate in multidisciplinary education and training, and deliver training to external organizations when required.Contribute to program development opportunities,



support new contracts within the broader Work Stress and Health program, and assume related duties as needed.Support a workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulatory requirements.QualificationsRegistered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (or Bachelor’s degree in OT plus a Master’s in OT, Rehabilitation Sciences, or related field). Preference for candidates with a Master’s in OT or related field.Three years of experience (preferred) working with individuals who have serious mental illness.Membership in either the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapy or the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy.Holder of COTO’s pre‑requisite Professional Liability Insurance.Clinical experience working with clients with chronic pain, addictions, and concurrent mood and anxiety disorders including PTSD/trauma.Experience providing assessment and treatment for work‑related difficulties in a third‑party context, including psychotherapy in a mental health setting.Demonstrated functional assessment, therapeutic skill with individuals and groups, case‑management, and conflict‑resolution abilities.Superior written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, experience working with multiple stakeholders, and familiarity with research processes and standardized measures.Proficiency with Microsoft Office, electronic communication, and electronic health record systems.Ability to work with clients of diverse ethno‑racial and cultural backgrounds.Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language is an asset.BenefitsSalary Range: $40.77 – $52.98 per hour.Location250 College Street.Equal Opportunity StatementCAMH is dedicated to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
