With a solid track record of strategic growth and acquisitions, they continue to expand our solution portfolio and technical capabilities while maintaining their commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.This OpportunityThe Human Resources (HR) Generalist will serve as a strategic partner for our Industrial Coolant and Filtration business segment within a dynamic manufacturing workplace. This role balances operational HR functions with strategic workforce initiatives by collaborating closely with plant leadership, manufacturing teams, and corporate HR to drive employee engagement, ensure compliance with Canadian employment legislation, and support the talent needs of this growing division.Roles and ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, compensation, and workplace concernsConduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate resolutions for employee relations mattersSupport employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale, retention, and workplace cultureCoordinate onboarding activities for new hires and conduct exit interviews to identify trends and support retention strategiesMaintain HRIS data integrity through regular audits, updates, and documentationAnalyze workforce trends and provide reporting on turnover, absenteeism, and other key HR metrics to support data‑driven decision‑makingSupport performance management processes,



including performance reviews and corrective action plansAdminister employee benefits programs, including extended health benefits, retirement savings plans, and leave managementProcess and coordinate employee leave requests, including medical, personal, and statutory leaves in accordance with provincial employment standardsSupport annual compensation reviews and salary increase processesEnsure compliance with Canadian federal and provincial employment legislation, occupational health and safety regulations, human rights legislation, and workplace policiesPartner with Safety and Operations teams to support workplace health and safety initiatives, training programs, and compliance documentationMaintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in accordance with legal and organizational requirements, including support for workers’ compensation and return‑to‑work programsProvide recruitment and talent acquisition support as requiredRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environmentStrong understanding of Canadian employment legislation and HR best practicesExperience with full‑cycle recruitment and employee relations managementProficiency with HRIS systems (experience with Workday, ADP, or similar platforms preferred)Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Preferred QualificationsProfessional HR designation such as CPHR or CHRPExperience in a multi‑site manufacturing organizationBackground in industrial, automotive, aerospace, or engineered products industriesExperience in unionized and/or non‑unionized manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and workplace safety standardsFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principlesBenefitsVacation DaysMedical and Dental BenefitsRRSPBase salary - $75K - $90K#J-18808-Ljbffr
