Our client, a major energy producer in Canada is searching for a Procurement Specialist to support procurement and sourcing for capital projects across their Midstream assets in North America.

Requirements

- 6+ years in procurement, contract management, or strategic sourcing (commercial/technical mix)
- Bachelor's in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, Engineering, or related field
- Experience leading sourcing events, negotiations, and supplier performance management
- Familiarity with engineering/construction project processes
- Solid negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- SCMP, PMP, Lean/Six Sigma an asset
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP, Livelink, Tableau

Responsibilities

- Manage portfolio demand and identify optimization opportunities
- Source/procure materials and services, ensuring timely delivery
- Build RFQs, lead negotiations, issue POs
- Manage full PO lifecycle (formation to close-out)
- Advise stakeholders and drive continuous improvement
- Ensure SCM policy compliance
