Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and guide major policy submissions and consultations • Analyze legislative changes and their business impact • Represent Interac in industry discussions and initiatives • Oversee relationships with governmental and public sector stakeholders • Develop materials for senior leadership decision-making
Requirements: • Degree in relevant fields such as political science or law • 10+ years in policy, regulatory, or government roles • Excellent written communication for governmental audiences • Knowledge of financial services and regulatory processes • Ability to handle sensitive, high-stakes interactions
