Posted: February 25, 2026 Closing Date: March 11, 2026 Position Type:Permanent Union:CUPE Financial Analyst contributes to ENMAX’s success by providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis that supports business planning and decision making. This role is responsible for monitoring financial performance against budgets and forecasts, maintaining cost models that support expenditure approvals, and delivering financial reports and transactions that enable effective management of assigned functional areas. Major Responsibilities Independently manage highly complex financial processes for their client groups including the development of budgets and forecasts, monitoring the actual versus budget amounts, and leading cross functional projects with minimal oversight Create, run and maintain business area financial allocation models including intricate “what if” scenarios for future business planning decisions Partnering with the business unit to streamline and automate processes Provide assurance that business unit financial statements align with business activities and are in accordance with accounting policies Using expert-level judgement to interpret results of business unit reporting to develop qualitative explanations to help influence broader organizational decisions Assist in the preparation and submission of all responsible areas OM&A; and Capital budgets Provide, explain and present complex financial information to assigned business areas and the broader organization Provide fixed asset accounting expertise in support of structuring and setup of project codes and interpret capitalization guidelines Provide timely and accurate periodic reporting such as actual performance versus planned / forecast expectations and prior period performance including detailed variance explanations Create periodic and ad hoc reports including business unit reports that capture key financial measures of success Education Required University Degree in Business, Commerce,



or equivalent with a specialization in Accounting/Finance Professional designation as a CMA, CGA, CA or CFA is required Qualifications & Experience 8+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis and accounting within a complex environment Strong working knowledge of IFRS, with the ability to interpret complex standards and assess impacts on accounting policies and financial reporting Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial information into practical business insights that support decision making Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to gather, assess, and interpret relevant financial data Experience with ERP systems (Workday Financials) and exposure to Generation Assets and Wholesale Trading considered assets Competencies Demonstrates strong planning and execution skills, consistently delivering on commitments and customer value Brings advanced technical accounting expertise to support accurate reporting and sound financial decisions Shows potential for people and/or project leadership, influencing outcomes through collaboration and accountability Effectively balances multiple priorities and performs well under pressure in deadline driven environments Communicates complex information clearly and confidently, with strong written and verbal communication skills across internal and external stakeholders Works collaboratively across disciplines, applying initiative, innovation, and sound problem solving to achieve results ENMAX Values Safety, Integrity, Accountability, Service, Teamwork, Agility, Innovation Did we mention the ENMAX Advantage? Salary Analyst D (Current CUPE 20 2 5 rates) $115,556.35 - $122,777.38 - $129,998.41 - $137,219.45 - $144,440.48 Location 141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB This role will be part of our hybrid work model that includes Core Days in office (Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays), and more time to focus on Mondays and Fridays, either in the office or at home.
