Deliver proactive care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Bethany Care Society in Calgary, Alberta. This role is crucial for supporting residents’ independence and safety through attentive nursing practices.
In this part-time temporary position, you will be responsible for resident-centered care and documentation, ensuring adherence to policies. This role encourages active learning and teamwork, contributing to a high-performance, compassionate culture at Bethany. You will engage closely with residents and families, facilitating meaningful relationships and choices.
Key Responsibilities: • Deliver resident-centered nursing care in light of care plans • Create detailed,
accurate documentation of care provided • Foster a secure environment by adhering to safety protocols • Participate actively in interdisciplinary team discussions • Lead Health Care Aides and model best practices when needed
Requirements: • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program • Registration with the Alberta College of LPNs • Ability to communicate effectively in English • Current CPR certification needed • Experience with dementia care and electronic documentation preferred
