If you're ready to lead with purpose and help shape the future of senior care, we wanthear from you !Compensation is $70.00/hour to $80.00/hour depending on experience.What you will bring:Remain accountable to the Nurse Practitioner practice standard in addition to the other practice standards and guidelines all nurses must follow.Accountable to the Medical Director and Director of Care of the Home for meeting the Long-Term Care or Retirement Home’s policies, procedures, and protocols for all medical services.Adhere to the regulatory bodies such as the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021 [or Retirement Homes Act, 2010].Maintain confidentiality and act in an ethical manner consistent with professional expectations and the home’s code of conduct.Collaborate with the resident, family, and health team in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the resident’s plan of care.Participate in creating an organizational setting that supports the safety and quality of resident care and life, collaborative practice, and professional growth.Champion quality & safety by contributing to quality improvement initiatives,



promoting evidence-based practices, and managing risk with a proactive approach.What We’re Looking For:Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse in the Extended Class (Primary Health Care or Adult) and entitled to practice with no restrictions and in good standing.Nurse Practitioner Certification from a recognized programMembership with the Nurse Practitioners’ Association of Ontario (NPAO)National certification in Gerontology an assetBilingualism is an asset.Minimum 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care and/or Retirement Care sector.Provide and maintain a current CPR Certificate for the duration of employment.Knowledgeable regarding cultural competency in professional nursing practice.Excellent communication and people skills.Working knowledge of Point Click Care is an asset.Knowledge of RAI/MDS and BSO is an asset.Provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.Proof of immunizations according to Plan A Policy.Tuberculosis testing within the last two years; Steps 1 & 2; or anX-Ray from the previous five years showing a clear result.Why Plan A?At Plan A, we’re more than just a workplace—we’re a community that celebrates each other’s contributions and invests in your growth.
