SAP FI/CO Functional ConsultantLocation: Remote (Canada)Duration: 24+ Month ContractStart Date: Targeting November 2026 Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced SAP FI/CO Functional Consultant to support and enhance their SAP Finance environment. This role will focus on maintaining business-critical financial systems, supporting end users, troubleshooting issues, implementing enhancements, and ensuring the continued stability of the SAP landscape.The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and internal SAP teams to deliver functional expertise across financial processes and drive operational excellence. Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day support for SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules. Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional and system-related issues. Configure SAP FI/CO components to support business requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Translate business needs into functional SAP solutions. Support testing, deployment, and validation of system changes. Deliver user support and guidance for finance-related processes. Assist with month-end and financial reporting activities. Recommend process improvements and system enhancements. Maintain functional documentation and knowledge transfer materials. Required Qualifications

5+ years of SAP FI/CO functional consulting experience. Strong hands-on SAP FI/CO configuration experience. Proven experience supporting production SAP environments. Experience working directly with finance stakeholders and business users. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience supporting enterprise-scale SAP deployments. Preferred Qualifications

SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) experience. SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) experience. SAP S/4HANA experience or exposure. Experience participating in ERP transformation or migration initiatives. Utility industry experience is considered an asset. Experience supporting regulated or large enterprise environments.
