With its high attention to detail for products that are durable, energy efficient, and unparalleled in performance, companies rely on Cincinnati Fan to provide comfort and mission‑critical and industrial cooling solutions.What we expect in this role:Team Leadership:Supervise, train, mentor, and delegate tasks to accounting staff, ensuring efficient, accurate work.Day‑to‑day management:Ensure that disbursements and receipts are disbursed, collected, and recorded accurately and in a timely manner.Month end close:Ensure that cash balances are accurate and accounted for, receivables have been followed up on, and payables have been recorded and disbursed in the appropriate period.Job ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting and AnalysisMaintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end and year‑end balancing and closing procedures.Support fixed asset accounting.Reconcile and balance transactions with corporate/home office and other intercompany businesses monthly.Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, production, and sales, to gather relevant financial data and ensure accurate and timely reporting.Compliance and AuditingSupport internal and external audit processes by preparing necessary documentation, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.Assist in internal and external audits and prepare PBC schedules as needed.Prepare data for federal, state,



and local quarterly and year‑end tax provisions and state sales and use tax returns.Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.Reporting and DocumentationPrepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.Create financial statements, budget various reports, and other financial analyses for review.Document and update accounting control procedures.Continuous ImprovementIdentify trends, anomalies, inefficiencies, and gaps in accounting processes and provide actionable recommendations to address areas, streamline processes, enhance accuracy, and improve productivity.Assist with cross training, development, and continual improvement of company policies and procedures.Stay up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to accounting and finance.Participate in other projects as assigned that relate to the overall goals of the department and organization.Required Experience5‑7 years of experience in Accounting and Finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesProven record in assisting operational leadership with understanding and improving processes to support bottom line results.Ability to manage a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Ability to communicate effectively verbally.Education & CertificationsBachelor's degree in finance or accounting required; advanced degree beneficial but not required.Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is beneficial but not required.SPX Pay Transparency StatementWe recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company. the estimated salary range for this position is $85,500‑$125,000 and represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect. We tailor our offers within the range based on organizational needs, internal equity, market data, geographic zone, and the selected candidate's experience, education, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process. At SPX, it is not common for individuals to be hired at the higher end of the range, and compensation decisions depend on a variety of factors. This position is eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus, subject to the rules governing the plan.
