Who We’re Looking For

You are someone who is dependable, compassionate, and professional, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

Requirements:

- Availability between 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday to Friday
- Reliable transportation, valid Ontario Driver’s License, vehicle access, and proof of insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform light physical work (bending, pushing, kneeling, climbing stairs, etc.)
- Comfortable working in environments with potential allergens (pets, smoke, dust)

What You’ll Do

Light Housekeeping:

- Clean sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers
- Wash, dry, and store dishes
- Dust and vacuum living areas
- Dispose of garbage, recycling, and compost properly
- Organize cupboards, drawers, and storage areas as directed
- Wipe and clean large appliances (stove tops, ovens, fridges) and remove expired items

Meal Preparation:

- Plan and prepare simple, nutritious meals with clients
- Warm and serve food




- Assist with online grocery ordering or light shopping
- Prepare light meals (e.g., chopping vegetables, making sandwiches, reheating leftovers)

Laundry and Linens:

- Wash, dry, fold, and store laundry
- Change bed linens and make beds

What You Bring to the Role

- Previous experience in housekeeping or working with seniors
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable vehicle
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- Chest X-ray or Negative 2-Step TB Test (within 2 years)
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (within 6 months)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and follow directions
- Basic cooking and cleaning knowledge
- Commitment to confidentiality and client dignity
