Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Summary
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Industrial Maintenance Technician performs general maintenance work on the plant’s equipment and infrastructure. Responsabilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and building systems, including mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. Assist in identifying and resolving mechanical and electrical issues. Analyze and recommend improvements to optimize material resources and infrastructure. Develop and improve maintenance management using maintenance management software. Provide technical support to various departments. Participate in and contribute to the development of a safe work environment. Ensure that equipment requiring calibration is kept up to date. Occasionally provide technical support to the powder production facility. Qualifications
Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in industrial maintenance or electromechanics, or equivalent experience. Ability to apply technical knowledge in mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. Ability to read technical drawings. Strong ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical problems. Good judgment and ability to take initiative. Robust commitment to working safely. Versatile, thorough, analytical, detail-oriented and creative. Collaborative mindset and strong teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, is considered an asset. Work Conditions
