Kemptville District Hospital is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to support our team on a casual basis. This role requires graduates from recognized programs, ideally with experience in sterile compounding and purchasing. You will also have the opportunity for internal cross-training and participation in regular feedback sessions with management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in medication dispensing and management • Support inventory control and purchasing tasks • Engage in sterile compounding processes • Provide exceptional support in hospital pharmacy operations • Participate in ongoing training and development sessions
Requirements: • Graduate of an approved Registered Pharmacy Technician course • Certification and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists • Preferred experience with Omnicell and sterile compounding • Previous hospital experience is an asset • Up-to-date immunizations and health compliance required
