is looking for a skilled Ferry Operator

with the ability to work independently, in a remote location, to maintain and operate the Big Bar Cable Ferry. In this role you will be a valued member of

Dawson Road Maintenance , working as a

TemporaryFerry Operator,

reporting to the

Superintendent, Roads . The Ferry Operator will provide prompt, reliable service to the traveling public. Your base location will be at

Big Bar Ferry

which is 60km north of Lillooet and 72km west of Clinton. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

Prioritize safety of self and others in all aspects of the job Signal passengers and motor vehicles to embark and disembark Operate cable ferry across narrow waterway Perform routine maintenance and repairs to engine, cables and winches WHAT YOU BRING





Experience in the field is an asset Ability to work shift work Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions PERKS
