Nurse Practitioner , you will play a central role in delivering holistic, culturally safe primary care to individuals and families. Reporting to the Director of Health & Social Services, you will work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that supports the full spectrum of health, including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

This role is suited for someone who looks beyond symptoms to understand the full story of each patient. You build relationships with empathy, respect, and integrity, creating a space where patients feel heard and supported. You are committed to culturally safe care and approach your work with curiosity, openness, and a mindset of continuous learning.

In a dynamic, community-based environment, you will work closely with physicians and a diverse care team, including community health, mental health and addictions, home care, and nutrition services, contributing to coordinated,



person- and family-centred care. Whether supporting chronic disease management, promoting wellness, or guiding preventative care, your work is grounded in trust and meaningful connection. Pay Scale:

$59.47 - $67.17/hour. Compensation is based on education, skills and experience in accordance with the Nova Scotia Nurses Union pay scale.

Contract:

13-month contract, September 2026 - October 2027 Location:

On-site at Millbrook Health Centre, 812 Willow St, Truro, NS

Schedule: Full time or Part-time

Monday to Friday, compressed work week. Some evenings and weekend availability will be required from time to time.

Travel:

Home visits within the community and surrounding area.
