Truck would be local pick up 2500-3500 series with box refer.Clean driving record with Class 5 requiredKey ResponsibilitiesMorning truck checksMaintain a clean vehicleDelivery of products to local restaurants,



institutions and grocery.Other duties to help support the inside teamWhen time allows you would support the inside team withPick fresh, frozen and dry goods and prepare them for deliveryPrepare boxes and materials for shipping orders.Pack seafood items as required for shippingLoad and unload delivery trucks efficiently and safelyOperate pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified or trained)Follow all safety and handling proceduresQualificationsPrevious experience in local delivery an asset or robust knowledge of local routesStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentPhysically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedlyA strong understanding of the Halifax regional Municipality geography.Hours:38 – 45 hours per week, depending on the time of year.Salary:$ 18.00 per hour, depending on experience to start.THE BEST PEOPLE IN THE BUSINESSOur motto at Fisherman’s Marketis “Quality, Service, Variety &Value”.
