Make a difference as a Relief Case Worker in St. Leonard's Supported Independent Living program. Provide crucial support and crisis intervention to adults with developmental disabilities, working a adaptable schedule.
As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will assess clients’ needs related to mental health, developmental delays, and addictions. This role involves advocating for clients at risk, liaising with team members for coordinated care, and ensuring safety within the community. Your expertise will guide program development and teamwork in a diverse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess clients’ skills and mental health needs • Provide crisis intervention and support services • Advocate for clients in the criminal justice system • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams • Ensure safety for clients and staff during shifts
Requirements: • University degree or college diploma in related field • 1-2 years experience supporting developmental disabilities • Intermediate First Aid & CPR certification • Valid G class driver’s license with reliable vehicle • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
