Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Rig Welders for our project at DOW Chemical Cogen - Shutdown

- Schedule Rotation: Shutdown - 12 hours
- Night shift and day shift available
- Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement





What You Will Be Working On

- Perform accurate B-Pressure welding
- Ensure welds meet quality standards and pass required inspections
- Work collaboratively with Pipefitters, apprentices, and shop crew to maintain efficient shop flow.
- Mentor and guide apprentices as needed.
- Maintain safe work practices and uphold shop standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

What We are Looking For

- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- A valid Journeyperson Welder Certification and B-Pressure Certification (Red Seal/recognized trade ticket required)
- Industrial Welding Experience
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed production welding targets.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
- Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
- The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
- Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
