About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Fraud to join its leadership team. The successful candidate will be the first to hold this pivotal role, with a mission to lead all Fraud Operations and contribute to the development of fraud detection products. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional with over 10 years' experience in Fraud Operations, particularly in the areas of Credit Card and Payments Fraud, to make a significant impact. The Head of Fraud will be a quantitative, data-first operator, treating fraud as a data problem and not just a compliance issue.



Responsibilities include leading the team in combating fraud, with a focus on productizing fraud signals based on buyer data.

While experience in auto finance is not mandatory, a background in fraud vendor environments is valuable. The ideal candidate is currently in a leadership position but is also willing to be hands-on in their work. The role requires a deep understanding of how fraud signals are generated and can be monetized, as well as the ability to work closely with the engineering, product, and operations teams. The Head of Fraud will be instrumental in the company's mission to provide advanced digital identity and income verification solutions, and must be prepared to be in the office at least one day a week in downtown Toronto.
