Become an Early Childhood Educator Assistant with BGC Okanagan in Lake Country, BC. This full-time role focuses on nurturing learning experiences and supporting children's growth in a positive environment.
BGC Okanagan is seeking an enthusiastic individual for its Early Years program. You'll assist in crafting developmentally appropriate activities, ensuring adherence to policy, and providing care for children's physical needs. This role is vital in fostering an engaging and safe experience for youngsters while forming connections with parents and guardians.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging developmentally appropriate activities
• Monitor and assist children in daily tasks
• Attend to children's physical requirements as needed




• Maintain a safe and clean program workplace
• Establish open communication with parents and guardians
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Assistant Certification is mandatory
• Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Successful completion of agency screening process
• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Availability for 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday
