Position Details:Position:Full-Time Patient Watch Security GuardSite:Various Health Care Sites within St. John'sAveraging Agreement:Overtime as per CBAHours:Hours may vary site to site (example Days, Nights, Rotating Shifts)Payrate:$19.00/hourKey responsibilities:Provide continuous observation of assigned patients to ensure safety and prevent self-harm or injury.Monitor and report any unusual behavior, incidents, or safety concerns to clinical and security staff.Maintain a respectful and non-invasive presence while observing patients.Work closely with healthcare professionals, following facility protocols and directions.De-escalate situations calmly and appropriately using non-violent crisis intervention techniques.Document observations and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.Prerequisites:Clean Letter of Conduct/VSCValid First Aid & CPR Level C from CSA Approved provider.English (oral and written)
