We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and patient

Support Worker

to provide individualized support to clients with behavioral and developmental challenges. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys building positive relationships, supporting independence, and helping clients participate in meaningful activities both at home and in the community. What You’ll Do As a Support Worker, you will: Provide compassionate, person-centred support in the client’s home and community. Assist with personal care, including hygiene, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Provide medication support as directed and according to the client’s care plan. Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks. Provide companionship and emotional support. Support clients with behavioral and emotional regulation strategies. Accompany clients on community outings, recreational activities, appointments, and other activities. Support outings that may include interacting with a variety of

therapeutic animals. Provide transportation when required. Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols. Communicate with the care team regarding client needs, progress, and concerns. Complete required documentation and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior. What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is: Compassionate, patient, and respectful. Reliable and dependable.



Comfortable supporting individuals with behavioral challenges. Calm and confident in challenging situations. A strong communicator and team player. Adaptable and adaptable to changing client needs. Experienced in home care, healthcare, social services, behavioral support, or community support is considered an asset. Training in Positive Behaviour Support and/or Gentle Persuasive Approaches (GPA) is considered a strong asset. Experience or training in

positive behaviour strategies, de-escalation, trauma-informed care, or other person-centred behavioral support approaches

is also considered an asset. Requirements Valid driver’s licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle are required. Ability to provide transportation to clients when required. Current First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain. Satisfactory criminal record/vulnerable sector check and other required screening. Ability to provide medical including TB test and vaccine record. Ability to complete all required training. Able to work 12 hour shifts (mix of days and nights). Why Join Us?
