About the Role
The Company is seeking a Court Chief Information Officer (CCIO) to provide strategic leadership and governance in the delivery of information management, information technology, and digital services for the Courts. The CCIO will be responsible for ensuring that all technology investments and digital services support judicial independence, court administration, access to justice, operational efficiency, privacy, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to information management, cybersecurity, and records retention, as well as the ability to align business needs with secure and contemporary digital solutions. The successful candidate will also be expected to have a strong background in IT and information security, with a focus on cybersecurity and records retention, and to possess excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical,
and problem-solving skills.
Candidates for the CCIO position at the company must have a background in computer science, information technology, cyber security, or a related field, with significant work experience in IT and information governance. A superior understanding of the principles of judicial independence, strong political acumen, and experience in stakeholder engagement are essential. The role also demands extensive experience in IT and information security research, the ability to prepare written opinions and reports, and a proven track record of providing enterprise-level leadership in technology and information services. The CCIO will be required to execute a Non-Disclosure Agreement and maintain strict confidentiality, as well as to provide a satisfactory criminal record check and security clearance. Relevant certifications such as CISSP and a law degree are preferred qualifications.
