We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our team, drive operational excellence, and ensure outstanding guest experiences.Position SummaryThe General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational success of the hotel. This role oversees all departments, ensures brand standards are met, manages financial performance, and fosters a positive, guest‑focused culture. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong business acumen, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to motivate and develop teams.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day‑to‑day hotel operations, ensuring alignment with Hampton and Hilton brand standards.Lead, develop, and support department heads (Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales, Breakfast, etc.).Maintain a strong presence on the floor to support team members and engage with guests.Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and respond to guest feedback in a timely and professional manner.Monitor quality scores and implement action plans to continuously improve performance.Prepare and manage the hotel’s budget, forecasts, and financial statements.Optimize revenue through effective pricing, inventory management, and collaboration with revenue management teams.Control costs,



manage labour levels, and maintain profitability targets.Support sales initiatives and local marketing efforts to grow market share.Build robust community relationships and represent the hotel with professionalism.Recruit, train, coach, and retain a high‑performing team.Ensure compliance with labour laws, workplace safety regulations, and company policies.Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable work setting.Maintain the property to Hilton brand standards, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and preventative maintenance practices.Ensure compliance with all Hilton programs, audits, and brand initiatives.QualificationsPrevious experience as a Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager in a Hilton property.Strong understanding of hotel operations, revenue management, and financial reporting.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.Proven ability to deliver results in guest satisfaction, profitability, and team engagement.Knowledge of Hilton systems is an asset.
