Reporting to the Site Superintendent for daily site operations and administratively to the Construction Manager, the Quality Supervisor supports the successful completion of the project, with a particular focus on quality, deficiency management and turnover.ResponsibilitiesAssisting the Site Superintendent with the coordination and management of day-to-day construction activitiesManaging the deficiency-free turnover process and ensuring work meets Polygon’s quality standardsReviewing project plans, specifications, contracts and Polygon’s construction standards to support trade coordination and the completion of workAttending site meetings and communicating quality expectations, project requirements and completion dates to subtrades and suppliersMonitoring and reporting on subtrade quality, schedule performance and site cleanlinessCoordinating the completion and turnover of work between subtrades to maintain project momentum and meet critical datesPreparing and distributing trade deficiency lists,
monitoring completion and escalating issues that could affect quality or scheduleAssisting the Site Superintendent in obtaining municipal inspection clearancesDocumenting material deliveries, equipment rentals and completed returns as requiredSupporting compliance with WorkSafeBC regulations, site safety requirements and Polygon policiesWorking collaboratively with Construction, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales teamsSupporting final occupancy and project turnover by ensuring required documents are complete and organizedIdentifying opportunities to improve construction methods, quality and project deliveryAdditional site-management duties as requiredRequirementsExperience in residential construction, quality control, deficiency management or site supervisionStrong understanding of construction drawings, specifications and building practicesDemonstrated ability to coordinate subtrades and maintain high standards for quality, schedule and site organizationStrong attention to detail and the ability to identify, document and follow through on deficienciesClear and skilled communication skills, both verbally and in writingStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced construction environmentA collaborative and solutions-focused approachWorking knowledge of municipal inspection requirements and WorkSafeBC regulationsProficiency with standard computer applications and construction documentation systemsValid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportationSalary range$85,000 to $105,000Polygon offers a competitive compensation package and benefits along with a reputable corporate culture as a leader in the industry.We thank all applicants for their interest and will only be in touch with shortlisted candidates.#J-18808-Ljbffr
