About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Remote Insurance Underwriting Assistant to provide crucial support to their underwriting team. In this role, you will assist underwriters by gathering and reviewing policy information, preparing documentation, managing correspondence, and ensuring data accuracy within underwriting systems. Assist underwriters in reviewing new and renewal insurance applications. Collect and verify necessary documentation, such as financial statements and risk reports. Prepare policy documents, endorsements, and other underwriting correspondence. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the underwriting management system.



Communicate with brokers and internal teams to clarify information and resolve queries. Support underwriters with ad-hoc administrative tasks and projects. Requirements

Previous experience in an administrative support role, ideally within the financial services or insurance sector. Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a remote setting. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn about insurance underwriting. Benefits
