TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Data Analyst

Duration :This is a 12 month contract located in Toronto, ON/ Hybrid

Job Description

Typical Day in Role:

• Design and integrate customer segmentation, channel analytics, campaign optimizations and recommendation/decision engines to help elevate our customer’s experiences across various channels and move to a personalized 1:1 customer journey.

• Synthesize data across multiple platforms to identify trends and deliver key insights and business recommendations around a customer-first approach to driving engagement and results across our marketing channels and campaigns, to then bringing these recommendations to market through execution and measurement.

• Explore and incorporate current data sources to enhance customer experience

• Work closely with partners to review findings and insights regarding campaign performance

• Ability to validate and measure effectiveness of customer/channel/campaign strategies to continually make ongoing changes and improvements.

• Effectively communicate results of highly technical projects to stakeholders and deliver high quality,



high impact analytical solutions to business problem

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

1) 10+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, working with datasets, both structured and unstructured data

2) 8+ years’ advanced SQL skills (coding capability)

3) 3+ years’ experience with Python

4) 1+ year reporting experience with PowerBI

Nice-To-Have Skills:

1) Google Cloud, Hadoop, Big Data, Data Lake experience

2) Experience in Adobe Analytics be an asset

3) Experience in marketing analytics is highly preferred

4) Previous experience with Banks/ FI is nice to have

Soft Skills Required:

• Strong communication skills and ability to present information clearly are essential

• Self driven and able to manage time and expectations with stakeholders

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in related field
