The successful candidate must be familiar with all aspects of construction surveying. Transportation-related survey experience would be a significant asset.
Candidates must be willing to travel and work away on shift rotation.QualificationsDiploma in Geomatics Technology or minimum 2 years experience as a Party Chief in civil constructionWell versed in the operation of robotic total station and GNSSValid driver’s license is requiredMust have CSTS20 and current First-AidCompliance with Global Raymac’s Drug and Alcohol policyMust be eligible to work in CanadaResponsibilitiesAccountability for field survey work as assignedAutonomous station and equipment setupFull and autonomous field stakeout set upComplete accountability for company gas card and credit card purchases associated with their field workEquipment maintenance, control, repair, and inventory accountabilityComplete interpretation of, and execution of, Project Manager field directionData collection and field measurement downloading & accuracyAdvanced calculation skills and angle/ distance measurementCompletion of Field Hazard documentation and assessmentsResponsible for their own safe conduct within the field and for identifying and rectifying any hazards and or unsafe working situationsAdherence to all Health and Safety Standards, practices, and proceduresThe compensation package for this position will be commensurate with the level of responsibility of the position as well as the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
