We are committed to identifying and retaining the most talented employees to delivering high quality projects of all sizes and complexities that exceed client expectations.We are seeking an Intermediate Earthworks Engineer with 5–10 years of experience who is eager to further develop their technical expertise, take ownership of key design components, and contribute to multidisciplinary project teams supporting the design and optimization of energy facilities. with respect to modeling and draftingProduce accurate MTO’s of earthworks quantitiesCollaboration & Project ExecutionCollaborate with civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines to deliver integrated design solutionsCoordinate with project teams to support planning, scheduling, and execution of deliverablesInterface with clients, vendors, and contractors to address technical questions and support project deliveryProvide support during construction including responding to RFIs and reviewing field changesSafety, Quality & ComplianceEnsure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirementsPromote a strong safety culture through protected design practices and participation in risk assessmentsParticipate in design reviews, HAZOPs, and quality assurance processesTechnical ExposureWork on complex site development projects including large-scale grading, access roads, drainage systems, and earthworks optimizationGain exposure to both greenfield and brownfield energy projectsContribute to continuous improvement of design standards, tools, and workflowsAbout YouBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline5–10 years of relevant experience in earthworks, site development, and/or civil engineering designP.Eng designation (or actively working toward) is preferredStrong organization skills and proficiency in calculation spreadsheet development using MS Excel.Solid understanding of grading, drainage design, and geotechnical principles Competence to work independently on grading engineering for projects.Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work within project timelinesStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and with external stakeholdersUnderground storm system engineering experience considered an assetProficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD considered an assetReady to Apply?If you're looking to take the next step in your civil engineering career, contribute to impactful energy projects, and work alongside industry-leading engineers, we’d love to hear from you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
