The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining complex gas‑fired systems and equipment in operational facilities. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem‑solving ability, and a customer‑focused approach in occupied environments.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to service calls involving commercial and industrial gas‑fired equipment and systemsDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain natural gas and propane systems within the scope of aGasfitter A licenseService and repair large‑scale and complex gas‑fired equipment, including boilers, burners, rooftop units, make‑up air units, process equipment, and hydronic systemsPerform start‑ups, shutdowns, inspections, testing, combustion analysis, and preventative maintenanceIdentify system deficiencies and provide clear recommendations, repair scopes, and corrective actionsRead and interpret gas schematics, P&IDs, blueprints, and technical manualsEnsure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and regulations (CSA B149, Manitoba Gas & Safety Codes, and company safety policies)Communicate professionally with customers, facility managers, and internal project teamsComplete service reports, work orders, and digital documentation accurately and efficientlyCoordinate service activities with other trades, supervisors,
