This unique chance allows you to broaden your financial skillset, work with a leading franchise and a global platform, and build a long‑term career in Investment Banking.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and analyze the financial needs of clients, building new and manipulating existing financial modelsLead M&A; and financing transaction structuring and execution, coordinating due diligence, preparing and reviewing analysis, and presenting recommendations to clients and colleaguesGenerate pitch ideas, conduct market and financial research, and lead the development of analysis and presentationsMonitor regulatory and sector themes to identify potential changes to clients’ businessesProvide secondary coverage for key Mining & Metals clientsEvaluate capital structure alternatives and provide recommendations based on underlying business characteristicsAttend and participate in in‑person meetings with clients and prospective clients, site visits, diligence, and drafting sessionsTrain, mentor, and supervise analysts and associates on day‑to‑day deliverablesCollaborate across corporate and investment banking coverage and product groups to deliver holistic financing solutionsRequired Qualifications5‑7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate development, preferably focused on mining & metalsUniversity degree, preferably in Finance, Engineering, or GeologyStrong desire to learn, team‑oriented mindset, and clearly defined interest in investment banking and financial marketsStrong computer skills,



including high proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPointQuantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, data visualization, and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work well under pressure with multiple deadlines while maintaining careful attention to detailFlexibility in schedule to meet client deadlinesLeadership skill set and desire to make meaningful contributions in a fast‑paced, team environmentPrior work experience in or covering the Mining & Metals sector; understanding of Mining& Metals industry concepts; CFA, CPA, P.Eng, or other relevant professional designations are considered an asset but not requiredCompensation and BenefitsSalary range is $135,000 – $165,000 based on experience, skills, and business needs. The position may be eligible for a discretionary/variable incentive payment.
