Line of Service Advisory Industry/Sector Not Applicable Specialism Valuation Management Level Associate Job Description & SummaryAt PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals. In deal valuation, you will focus on providing analysis and valuation services for mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions. You will help clients make informed decisions by assessing the worth and potential risks of various deals.In our rapid‑paced environment, you are expected to adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. You are expected to take ownership and consistently deliver quality work that drives value for our clients and success as a team.ResponsibilitiesDetermine the value of property and estimate the cost of production of a new property and replacement of an existing property by purchase or production of an equivalent property.Estimate the reproduction of an existing property by purchase or production of an identical property.Determine the non‑monetary benefits or characteristics that contribute to value; render judgments as to age, remaining life, condition, quality, or authenticity of physical property.Analyze and organize different documentation including fixed assets register/subledger, balance sheets, technical reports, process flows, engineering drawings, and other technical documents provided by the clients.Perform research on websites, databases, and via phone contact with third parties including manufacturers, dealers, and other relevant parties. Research includes industry information, historical information, replacement cost, market values, comparable data,



etc.Provide support to create tangible valuation models in MS Excel or similar software.Support the preparation of data visualization products.Support internal documentation and/or client reports that communicate research findings and recommendations concisely and effectively, and support business development activities.QualificationsA combination of accounting, financial, business, and engineering skills.Progressive experience in tangible asset valuation, preferably at a Big Four accounting firm.An interest in pursuing an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in Machinery & Technical Specialties from the American Society of Appraisers.Significant experience with database management and mass appraisal modeling techniques in Excel, Access, Power BI, PowerPivot, and/or Alteryx or alternate programming modules.Strong technical skills as well as report‑writing skills.Experience preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.Proven ability to manage team members, project workflows, and deliver on time.Willingness to travel.Engineering background preferred, with the ability to apply technical concepts in a business context.BenefitsSalary range: $41,600 – $69,400. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres and may vary for positions in other locations. Base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications, and work location.Eligible employees may participate in variable incentive pay programs designed to reward individual and firm‑wide achievements.
