In this full-time role, you will work in the Pharmacy Services department for a 12-month term at North York General. Your responsibilities will include dispensing medications, performing medication checks, and supporting patients through effective communication. You will foster relationships that enhance care and ensure safety policies are adhered to within the hospital workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for dispensing patient-specific medications
• Manage inventory and conduct final medication checks




• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding tasks
• Ensure safe handling of controlled substances
• Engage with patients and healthcare teams effectively
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program
• Current R.Ph.T designation from Ontario College of Pharmacists
• Preferred experience in a hospital pharmacy
• Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Math and aseptic techniques
• Bilingualism in French/English is an asset
