Our program is rooted in Christian values and a play-based approach that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.Position Overview:We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA) to join our team on a on-call basis. The ECEA will support the Lead Educator in providing a safe, engaging, and Christ-centred learning environment for young children. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood development and eager to support children during these foundational years.Key Responsibilities:Support the Lead Educator in implementing daily activities and routines based on early learning principles.Assist in creating a nurturing, inclusive,



and stimulating classroom environment.Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play-based learning.Provide supervision and guidance during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.Foster positive relationships with children, families, and team members.Model kindness, patience, and Christian values in all interactions.Follow licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies.Qualifications:ValidECEA certification(required).Experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or early learning setting (preferred).Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a caring, team-oriented attitude.Ability to work collaboratively with educators and families.A personal commitment to the Christian faith and Christian education, modelling Christ-centred values.Preferred:First Aid & CPR certification.Experience in a faith-based or play-based early learning setting.Familiarity with BC Early Learning Framework.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit a résumé, cover letter, statement of faith, and references including a pastoral reference from the Christian Church you currently attend to:[email protected]#J-18808-Ljbffr
