As an LTO at DDSB, you will inspire and support Core 4-8 students in their educational journey. Your responsibilities include designing lessons that meet curriculum standards and valuing the importance of student progress assessment. By fostering collaboration within the school community and ensuring inclusive practices, you will enrich the learning setting for all.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement engaging lessons that meet curriculum goals • Continuously assess and monitor student development • Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom space • Work collaboratively with colleagues and community members • Tailor teaching approaches to diverse student backgrounds
Requirements: • Valid Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) • FSL qualifications necessary for teaching • Completion of the written French competency test • Criminal Background Check required upon hire • Advocate for equity and inclusion in education
