Building Ontario Fund (BOF) is seeking aPolicy and Partnerships Internfor a 12 month internship starting in September 2026. (This job posting represents an existing vacancy.)PURPOSE OF POSITIONThis position will support research, analysis, and planning for BOF’s policy and partnership initiatives. This position will co-report to the Senior Manager of Partnerships, and the Senior Manager of Policy.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProvides research, analysis, and support to a team responsible for maintaining organizational alignment with government priorities and managing relationships with external stakeholders.Conducts qualitative and quantitative research and synthesizes information on policies, institutional investors and other stakeholders, and market trends relevant to BOF’s mandate to support priority initiatives.Provides policy analysis and recommendations resulting from research findings to analysts and management.Keeps abreast of trends in BOF’s priority sectors and within institutional investment landscape.Drafts a range of documents in support of initiatives, including but not limited to information notes, slide decks, infographics, and reports.Supports curation of BOF’s corporate policy library and provides intelligence on emerging compliance requirements.Supports coordination of BOF’s participation in corporate conferences and prepares relevant briefing materials. Coordinates meetings, takes notes, and follows-up on action items,



if required.Conducts pre-screening of incoming stakeholder requests and proposal submissions.Coordinates and provides as-needed support for projects.Performs other duties as assigned by the Managers.QUALIFICATIONSEducation and ExperienceUndergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy and/or Public Administration, or related field.Knowledge and SkillsGeneral understanding of the sectors that BOF invests in.Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis and investment principles.Knowledge of and skills in research and analysis, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis.Ability to carry out research, issues synthesis, and analysis (e.G., identifying issues, making recommendations) and to prepare such deliverables as research products, notes, and slide decks.Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to think outside-the-box.Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with others in a team environment.Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Efficient organizational and planning skills to meet deadlines and workload demands.Willingness to learn new skills, adjust to changing priorities, and embrace unfamiliar tasks.Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) and other internal applications,
